Despite the success of his best-selling “South Beach Diet” books, Arthur Agatston shows no signs of slowing down. The 58-year-old cardiologist still sees patients at his private practice in Miami Beach and lectures and teaches at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He's also developing additional healthy products for the South Beach Diet line he developed with Kraft Foods, and he's already working on two more books. Last month—in response, he says, to requests from diet devotees for easy recipes—he published his latest book: “The South Beach Diet Quick and Easy Cookbook: 200 Delicious Recipes Ready in 30 Minutes or Less”.
